Welcome to McAlester Public Schools Enrollment

We’re excited to welcome you to the Buffalo Family! Whether your child is just beginning their educational journey in Pre-K or transferring into one of our upper grades, we’re here to make the enrollment process as smooth and supportive as possible.

Our district is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and high-quality educational experience for all students from Pre-K through 12th grade. By enrolling in McAlester Public Schools, your child will join a community that values academic excellence, student well-being, and strong family partnerships.

Please visit our MPS Enrollment Center at 200 E. Adams to complete the enrollment process. 

The Enrollment Center is open: 

  • Monday through Friday: 8:00AM-12:00PM and 1:00PM-3:30PM

Every parent/guardian must bring a Valid Government Issued ID and enroll their student in-person.

  • Please bring the following documents for each student (including returning students):
  • Birth Certificate
  • Current Immunization Record
  • Proof of Residency (utility bill or rental lease)
  • Tribal Membership Card (if applicable)
  • Legal Documents (if applicable)
