MHS AP Testing Schedule, May 2027

Registration & Eligibility

• MHS AP Students: All McAlester High School AP students are expected to take the AP exams associated with their course. The AP coordinator will register MHS students automatically in October based on their AP Classroom enrollment.
• Non-MHS District Residents: AP students who live within the McAlester School District but do not attend MHS may register and take exams at McAlester High School.
• Registration Contact: Non-MHS students can register by emailing Tim Collier at tcollier@mpsbuffs.org, calling 539-995-8033, or visiting the Teaching and Learning Department (200 East Adams, 3rd Floor). The deadline to register and pay for the exam is October 9, 2026

Exam Window & Policy Guidelines

• Testing Window: AP Exams will be administered over two weeks from May 3–7 and May 10–14, 2027.
• Room Assignments: The AP coordinator will notify students of their specific MHS testing room locations in late April.
• Start Times: Morning exams begin at 8:00 AM, Central Time. Afternoon exams begin at 12:00 PM, Central Time.
• Strict Schedule Rules: Early testing or taking exams outside of official College Board times is strictly prohibited.
• Late Testing & Exam Conflicts: Late testing is available only for approved medical reasons or state-level competitions. The AP coordinator will arrange late testing for students with two exams scheduled at the same time.
